-Farseer Ulyielle led a strike force to Oren 3, and captured and interrogated one of Inquisitor Cole’s agents who was engaged in insurgency operations against the Tau. Before he died the Eldar were able to extract sensitive information on Inquisitor Cole’s security protocols. Armed with this new information they were able to attack and capture the Inquisitor during a surgical strike on Nolim.
-High Lord Markus Kordan led the Blood Phoenix Space Marines in an operation to drive the Tau Hunter Cadre Redtide from the outer districts of the capital city Feon. The Tau were quick to react; seizing the initiative against the attackers; but in the end, could not withstand the Blood Phoenix unrelenting advance.
-The recently activated Mobius Ascendant Necrons were able to circumvent Feon’s subterranean defenses and were poised to destroy key power generators. Only a detachment of Ravenwing hurtling through the hivecity’s subterranean tunnel system was fast enough to intercept and repel the Necrons before they reached the generators.
-Elsewhere Grand Maester Librarian Alric Khanduras led a detachment of Blood Phoenix marines against a group of Eldar suspected to have intelligence on the location of one of the heads of the Noble houses; known to be a key Imperial defector. Khanduras’ powers allowed him to find and successfully attack the Eldar; then locate a data slate that would have the information he sought. As his forces moved to recover the slate he was attacked by the Dark Angels; the fighting was quick and bloody but Khanduras would not be denied his prize. No formal records of the battle that ensued were ever submitted to command by either chapter; attempts to garner further explanation from the chapters on the significant friendly-fire losses by the Inquisition command group were ignored.
-At the behest of his craftworld kin; Duke Sivilus led the Astral Asp Dark Eldar in a raid against the Blood Phoneix Marines. The Marines were ready and the initial clash was deadly for both sides. In the end the Dark Eldar were narrowly repulsed by the Marines. As Duke Sivilus watched the initial battle unfold from the safety of the webway, a sinister grin spread across his face. When the time was right, he led his forces to victory in a second battle, this time the fallen were the lucky ones; the surviving marines were taken for the Dark Eldar’s twisted purposes.
Later, when Sivilus was approached for possession of the recovered intelligence and prisoners by the smug craftworld Eldar, a battle broke out that saw him victorious once again. Emboldened by his string of victories Sivilus continued his corsair activities in the sector. All who pass through Fate’s End now fear his name and that of the Astral Asps.
-Spiritseer Iyanna Arienal is weary from the losses suffered by her Craftworld in recent times. She seeks to capture, and through the talents of her shadow council, strip ideas from the minds of enemy leaders, implanting suggestions and wiping memories. Her first target is Ethereal Aun’Resi, which she captures with minimal effort, the Dark Eldar mercenaries that took the brunt of the fighting did not fare so well. A second engagement with the blood phoenix chapter leads to the capture of their chief librarian. Though in captivity, he is not as easily manipulated by the council as the ethereal; but still reveals sensitive information before they are both released to further the Eldar machinations.
-Despite the warnings from their Eldar seers, a group of Dark Eldar break off to raid a hivecity being held by Ultramarines on Nolim. The runes have warned against the attack and the Eldar refrain from joining the battle as the Dark Eldar clash, and then are annihilated by the Marine defenders.
