-Tau Earth cast investigating the power signatures of the Dolmen gates are discovered by expeditionary forces of the Raven Guard searching for inquisitor Cole on Dereth. Conflicts break out and the Tau are forces to break off there research efforts as the Raven Guard force them to retreat.
-Shas'O Stormwind holds the Domen Gate to Nolim against all odds. The imperials make a final push against the Tau forces holdling their home gate to Nolim but Tau defensive line holds largly in part to superiority of thier heavy artillery and the cunning of their Kroot auxiliaries.
-The Salamander battle barge ‘Vulkan’s Reach’ made planetary assault on what appeared to be the Eldar base of operations. Once the Dreadnought drop pods made planetfall it was revealed to be a trap and a bloody battle ensued. The Salamanders were able to make a beachhead on Dereth but the Eldar base's location remained a mystery.
-In a dangerous gambit, the Blood Phoenix space marine's chief librarian utilized a captured Eldar artifact to make ingresses into the webway portals linking Dereth. This strike was coordinated with a simultaneous attack on Dereth led by the remainder of the chapter and elements of the imperial guard. The attack, unconventional as it was, was foreseen by the Eldar defenders and the Imperials were repelled.
-Interrogator Eligius now armed with Cole's location leads a desperate attack through the jungles of Dereth. The Eldar are well prepared for his arrival and whittle away his forces slowing his advance. When Eligius forges forward and nears Cole's captors a massive Dark Eldar Kabal ambushes from the jungle; no doubt their executioner's role a reward negotiated from their prior successes. Without warning or explanation Eligius was reinforced by Dark Angel forces who attempted to turn the tide of battle, but were unable to reach the Inquisitor in time.
